Hometown: I was born in D.C. but I was a military brat and moved all over. But….I was hatched in D.C.
How old were you when you drank your first beer?: YOUNG
What was the first beer you ever drank?: My first beer I ever tasted was a Bud Light. I’d go fishing with my parents and I got the first cold sip out of their cans.
What is your favorite style of beer?: Porters and stouts. I love the taste of chocolate-coffee ballsy beer.
What is your favorite Porter/Stout?: Horny Goat Chocolate Porter and Oskar Blues Ten Fidy.
What is your favorite brewery?: Horny Goat. Best beer I’ve ever had. Bridge Brew Works in WV. Can’t beat an awesome time rafting and meeting awesome owners of the joint.
You’re mowing your grass, what are you drinking?: Leinenkugel Summer Shandy. That might be more of a pool beer than a lawnmower beer. I’m more a pool girl than a lawn girl.
Are you a home brewer or have any desire to home brew?: Not at all. I have no desire to become a homebrewer. I’d rather let someone else do all the work and let me reap the benefits.
Do you ever go to beer festivals?: Yes. I love them. My favorite so far is the OBX beer festival. (coming up soon!)
How far would you be willing to drive for your favorite beer?: A good day trip, or as far as Mari would.
What is your favorite drinking game? Dice and quarters.
If you could tip back a beer with anyone, who would it be with? I don’t think I’d mind having a beer with my mom. Although she was an alcoholic, I’d love to just have a cold beer with her and talk shit.
What’s your favorite thing about Brutopia?: It’s laid back and comfortable. I get to meet up with friends and listen to awesome music. I can just throw on shorts and hang out and have some good beers on tap.
